OLD ENGLISH (450-1100):
The invading Germanic tribes spoke similar language that is called old English developed by Britain. It is really different from today’s English. Even the native speaker can’t understand it.MIDDLE ENGLISH (1100-1500):
In 1066 William conquer the England. William was French speaker so, he and his solder speak French. At that time French was high level language and English was low level. After some time in 14 century England again dominated in Britain with a lot of French words.EARLY MODERN ENGLISH (1500-1800):
At the end of Middle English, sudden change in the pronunciation started. Many phrasal verb and new words are added in it due to dramatist and other writers. First English dictionary was published in 1604.LATE MODERN ENGLISH (1800-PRESENT):
Vocabulary is the main difference between early and late modern English. Its vocabulary increase due to two factor:Industrial revaluation:
